The latest version of the Edge Order Station features a slim, modern design and vibrant touchscreen technology that attracts consumers’ attention. “Edge is an easy-to-use countertop solution powered by Kodak Moments Retail Software,” explained Finnemore-Olson. “We redesigned Edge to give it a more approachable look and feel. It’s lighter and sleeker with a smaller footprint to preserve counter space. For retailers, space is money.” Seamless Mobile Experience Smartphones have become consumers’ primary photo capture device. The Edge Order Station makes transferring images from phones to the kiosk easy, offering convenient wireless printing via WiFi, AirPrint, and Bluetooth. Connecting to a physical cable or USB drive is no longer required. With Direct Transfer technology, consumers can quickly and easily access the network by scanning a QR code to wirelessly upload photos they wish to print from their mobile device. Consumers can also upload and print directly from Facebook, Google, and other cloud accounts and choose from a variety of premium photo products to customize and fit their style.
